Qadence by TQG
Qadence is a client-centric tool for Aboud's clients to access their information for his biz consulting operation. As such, one of the highest priorities was to establish a brand/identity that would instill confidence and clarity to his clients.
The project had several design cycles, and once that was done I executed on the front-end development to bring it to fruition.
On this project, I owned both design & engineering responsbilities.
Lokad Discuss \\\ Revamp!
Lokad Discuss (https://lokad.com) is part of Lokad's application suite of tools that's used to coordinate work among team members that have a "seat" in the organization. The best way to understand it is that it's an industry-specifc project management tool, e.g., Jira.
On this project, the scope of my work was to completely revamp their old user interface, and implement a Tailwind-esque aesthetic. Lots of UX refactoring was involved too.

Design overhaul for Pixl.so
CamRe: Mobile App for Camera Rentals
🎨 📐 UI/UX and Product Design
CamRe is just a fictional mobile app for renting high-end cameras. The costs of these cameras can cost as much as a down payment for a home loan so most brick and mortar photography stores do offer camera rentals, however... this business model hasn't really been executed via a mobile app; at least to my knowledge.
This short case study just contains essentials for a loose product design exercise: the branding elements, and key experience screens.
Gooey Design System
I'm working on a design system for my UI/UX studio to use on client work. The aesthetic looks very simliar to Google Material, but has more personality and incorporates a sense of playfulness.
GLAMBBOOK•
I was approached to help gather feedback for a startup hoping to launch a mobile app that allows people to book appointments at nearby salons.
On this project, I created the brand identity, executed on hi-res mockups for the founders to begin gathering feedback from the public.
Built with Figma, and Adobe Photoshop. Some of the images used from Unsplash.
Beaming Health
Beaming Health (beaminghealth.com) is a health network that helps parents connect with child behaviorial professionals. On this project, I was the lead UX research and SEO expert gathering feedback from real parents to create an improved v2.0 of the website.
The Daily Wire, LLC
The Daily Wire (dailywire.com) is the largest conservative news outlet pioneering the multimedia approach in online journalism. They currently offer written articles, videos, and podcasts. On this project, I was one of the senior React.js developers that built the v2.0 frontend of their website.
Truffle Shuffle
TruffleShuffle (truffleshufflesf.com) began during the COVID-19 shutdowns when they started broadcasting virtual cook-alongs for their friends on Zoom. The two founders are former chefs at the 3-Michelin star restaurant The French Laundry in Napa Valley, CA. On this project, I was the Principal Designer for their Private Events web app. Fortune 500 companies have booked more than $1M in corporate events through this app, and it’s the highest return segment in their business operations.
Verikai
Verikai is an innovative product that's using machine learning to help underwrite insurance policies. It was fascinating to see how accurate, and granular their predictions were!
I was brought on board to push several web products across the finish line. As they were in the midst of a massive strategic shift, several of their marketing websites and core product needed another React.js developer to help champion it past the finish line.
The contract engagement was a huge success! They needed these new web products before a national health insurance conference, and I was happy to help them meet this goal.
Bread & Butter
Bread & Butter is a subscription-based sommelier service. You complete a questionnaire to help them profile your tastes/palette, and they send you unique wines from boutique vinters.
I was asked to design a website that exuded simplicity and sophistication, as well as, provide a dramatic feel through the scrolling experience (most of the website is just one page).
IJR
IJR is a conservative news blog based in Washington D.C. They reached out to get React-specifc consulting to help their team port their app. I was able to help them get up-to-speed, and ship their desktop and mobile website.
Milkinside (Augmented Reality)
MilkInside® is an design agency specializing in augmented reality (AR) apps. They wanted a really immersive, lucid digital experience for their website that would allude to the kind of apps they could create. It was a great pleasure working with them!
SVG Art
I'm a contributor to a frontend development website called Alligator.io. Generally this involves writing articles, but sometimes when inspiration strikes me... I'll whip up some SVG illustrations!

Widget redesign for calendar app
This was a small project that involved redesigning widgets for their calendar app (and a few other things). I asked was to explore a few different light/dark themes for this component. Really fun and refreshing client work!
Arcus Data
I was contacted to provide my CSS & design competencies to Arcus Data. They were using Material UI, but didn't know how to customize it to fit their branding. After a quick turnaround, I was able to get them where they needed to be, and instilled some of my own best practices for their development team to follow.
Dashboard redesign (showing animation)
A client approached me to reimagine a new dashboard for their AI/ML platform. This is short demo of the interactive prototype I built using Figma.
The client is still in startup mode and requested to redact their identity!
Espresso Selector
This is just a little widget I built with React.js to try out some "frost" effects, as well as execute on some animations
Icons were designed in Sketch.
