The Proper & Key Shirt Builder on Shopify

The client needed a "build a product" type solution for their custom shirt business integrated into their Shopify sales channel. I implemented the desktop UX/UI designs and integrated the app into the client's Shopify store. The result was a beautiful, pixel perfect, device-size responsive, one-of-a-kind product customizer rarely seen in Shopify. Numerous creative strategies were used to pull off a Shopify integration with almost no external dependencies; freeing the client from server maintenance costs. Later the client requested the ability to use the app on mobile. I took the existing desktop website and adapted it into a clean and easy to use experience on mobile. Throughout the entire project, I employed my UX skills to fill in the blanks missing from the provided design assets (onboarding, animations/transitions, and other interaction experience related enhancements).

Perky Jerky

The client wanted to migrate from the Magento eCommerce platform to the Shopify's platform. From a PSD, I built the responsive website from scratch using the Shopify Liquid language, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. (NOTE: This site has been handed off and the live site will look different)

LINDAFINEGOLD | eCommerce site for edgy LA brand (React, Headless CMS)

NOTE: This site was handed off to another development team and the quality of the site has suffered greatly. Edgy e-commerce brand for celebrity client in Los Angeles. Headless website built from scratch in Next.js. CMS integration with Builder.io. DISCLAIMER: The content on this site is edgy and is controlled by the client with a content management system. I do not have editorial control or have any input on what gets published on this website.

Unfoldid

The client desired a new brochure site and blog for her personal shopping business. I worked with a designer who created the PSD; implemented that PSD, then integrated the site into WordPress. The end result was a gorgeous website that the client was ecstatic with.

Array+

The client presented me with a PSD mockup of a website for a product they wanted with a layered, parallax-like gradient background concept. Live text was a requirement for SEO and mobile responsiveness. Using HTML5, CSS3, and some creative thinking and collaboration between the client and I, the project came out nearly pixel perfect to the PSD file. The result was a gorgeous, mobile-responsive website, SEO friendly website.

Prank Candles

Pull an epic prank on a friend, spouse, or enemy. 😛 Built from PSD files using UIKit framework and Shopify Slate.

Lashify X ReCharge Subscription Dashboard

This is a custom dashboard designed and implemented by me from scratch using UIKit & Vue.js on the front end. Node.js on the backend, and AWS Lambda as a handler. This serverless web app consumed the ReCharge API and integrated with the Lashify Shopify storefront.

iffy: Media Grabber for iOS

An iPhone and iPad app that allows users to save videos and gifs from Twitter directly to their device. It's the fastest, most convenient, and easiest to use solution on the App Store.

Holstein Cheese

The client wanted a brochure style website for their all-natural cheese product. From a PSD, I built the responsive design using HTML5, PHP, CSS3, and JavaScript and jQuery. I integrated Google Maps and MailChimp into the website with the respective API's. (NOTE: This site is no longer in production)

Ursanex.com

Marketing page for Ursanex

Ursanex - Biotech on-demand service & collaboration platform

This beast of a software is currently my flagship project A full case study write up coming soon. Beta version is in active development. Overview: The "Devaims" for the biotech industry. Being created in collaboration with MD's from Ivy League Brown University. Update: Unfortunately funding fell through for this project and was canceled before making it to production.

Unfoldid Style Quiz

Client wanted to replace the use of Google Forms with something more fun and interactive. From scratch, I designed and coded an interactive, multi-step style form, to retain user engagement in filling out the form questions. The result was a beautiful and fun form designed to prevent abandonment. I developed an API backend using Google Apps Script to store the record of each form in a Google Sheets spreadsheet as requested by the client.

AURORA Digital Media

Design + Develop

Dropel Labs

The client’s goal was a major overhaul of the previous, outdated website. Using the old site as a reference, I implemented the mobile-responsive template files from scratch using the Shopify Slate development tools. The result was a fast, beautiful, and responsive final result.

Array Portrait Studio

A clean, simple, mobile-responsive brochure website created, from scratch, from a PSD reference.

Marriott Moments - Traveler Shelf

1. Implemented the UI for the Marriott Traveler module, pixel perfect from Zeplin mockups, with adjustments for mobile. 2. Created an AWS Lambda function to serve as the client that pulls data from Google Places API and the Marriott Moments data store. 3. Implemented secure AJAX calls to the AWS Lambda function to update the UI. 4. Integrated MixPanel into the UI source code. 5. Deployed to production through Adobe Target for A/B testing. (Note: This has reached end of life and is out of production)

HubSpot - DropSpot Internal Tool (App Shell)

I was tasked with architecting an OAuth2 workflow for an internal application. There's not much going on the front end because the bulk of the work for this task was backend architecture related. A Django server serves as the client to the DropBox API and using Django Rest Framework proxies the information to the front end React SPA. A few different strategies of hosting the React SPA were attempted until the client and I settled on it being hosted by the Django server to take advantage of session authentication. I designed the UI and implemented it with Ant Design
