Erik O. Cloud, Web and Full-Stack

My name is Erik O. and I have over 9 years of experience in the tech industry. I specialize in the following technologies: PHP, Python, node.js, Laravel, WordPress, etc.. I hold a degree in Bachelor of Science (B.S.). Some of the notable projects I’ve worked on include: Dosable, Travel Industry Solutions, AmeoLife, SHARE, Derby Smash, etc.. I am based in Woodland, United States. I've successfully completed 8 projects while developing at Devaims.

I possess comprehensive technical expertise across the entire solution lifecycle, from user interfaces and information management to system architecture and deployment pipelines. This end-to-end perspective allows me to build solutions that are harmonious and efficient across all functional layers.

I excel at managing technical health and ensuring that every component of the system adheres to the highest standards of performance and security. Working at Devaims, I ensure that integration is seamless and the overall architecture is sound and well-defined.

My commitment is to taking full ownership of project delivery, moving quickly and decisively to resolve issues and deliver high-quality features that meet or exceed the client's commercial objectives.

Notable Projects

Dosable

BraveRX is an online platform that provides personalized ED treatments, with medications delivered discreetly to your doorstep.

Travel Industry Solutions

Travel Industry Solutions provides tools and services to help travel businesses manage operations, legal protections, and compliance.

AmeoLife

I conducted a comprehensive analysis of the website’s user flow, pinpointing pain points and opportunities for enhancement. Additionally, I improved the website’s design by refining the layout, typography, and imagery to better engage visitors.

SHARE

As part of a team, I built a tool to enable Sacramento County to provide access to their surplus inventory to people and organizations in need. One other developer and I created the architecture and the infrastructure of the system. I cannot take credit for the UI on this site.

Derby Smash

At the request of a long-time business associate familiar with the Roller Derby world, I developed this web and mobile application as a companion social network. We′re on target to release the Beta version of this Kickstarter-funded web and mobile app in July 2015. I′ve been involved with every technical aspect of this project, from architecture to implementation; leading a team of talented developers toward building something cool and fun for the derby community. We learned so much from the Alpha release earlier this year we′re very excited for the Beta release coming shortly!

Cellback Partners

Cellback Partners recycles used cell phones through local and national stores. They needed a means to track sales, performance, shipments, customers, orders, and commissions in one place. I inherited the system from their previous programmer, developed a handful of improvements and modifications (some functional and some purely interface-oriented). I also developed their REST API and a JavaScript/PHP SDK to go along with it.

Lime Light PHP SDK

Having used Lime Light′s CRM consistently (and always wanting more control over data transfer), I developed a Software Development Kit in PHP for their API. I realized specialist companies would charge upwards of $5,000 to Lime Light users starting out with this very marketer-friendly CRM (which itself is $3500 up front and $800 a month). I used this for myself, then for a couple clients, then released it as open source (with the approval of their CEO). You can see (and download) the code here... you′re free to re-use it, change it, improve upon it, etc., but please respect my work and provide credit where credit is due. https://github.com/erikcaineolson/LimeLightSDK Note: this is not a screenshot of my SDK, as the SDK works behind the scenes to interact with the Lime Light API.

Kura Portal

As part of the team responsible for Kura′s cutting-edge telemedicine platform, I have had the opportunities to debug others′ work, learn how technology and medicine work together, implement and work with transferring data (often with no API) across systems, Operating Systems, databases, peripherals, and web and mobile applications.
